Acer Phoenix
Acer Phoenix is a compact, board shrub or small tree. That will grow eventually 5m tall. It has palmate leaves which emerge pink with yellow-green veins, gradually turning to yellow and then to a green before turning orange,red in the autumn. Will eventually grow to 4-8m high and spread 2.5-4m wide. Plant in semi shade and protect from strong winds.
Care instructions
Plant in either ground or pot make sure it is twice as big as the original pot. Plant in a nice sheltered spot so it is protects by the wind. Can be planted in multi purpose with John Innes and a bit of ericaceous for best results, you can also put some root grow in the boottom of your hole as it will help roots establish. Normally needs once a week of watering but if the weather is hot then sometimes twice a week. ericaceous will help encourage vibrant foliage.
