Amelanchier Lamarckii

Amelanchier lamaeckii is a perfect plant if you are thinking of planting a tree in your garden. You can wither have it as a lovely large shrub or a small tree. Has sliver coppery coloured leaves to the masses of star shaped white flowers. In early spring to its formation of small red fruits in the summer before finally maturing to black. Perfect food for the birds. Once autumn comes the leaves will turn red to bronze. It is a nice fast growing plant. Likes full sun and will grow to 3m high and spread 1.6m. Once winter comes will die back to sticks and return in the spring.
