Pieris japonica Little Heath
Little Heath Pieris plant is perfect evergreen for the garden. Loves partial shade and will grow 1m high and will spread 50cm. It is an outstanding variety with a dwarf compact & round habit suitable for containers. Very purely small silvery / Green leaves with a creamy edge border. Gives rich pink new growth in April to may with clusters of pure white bell shaped flowers resembling Lily of the valley. This plant loves ericaceous and would prefer rain water. A little tip you must be careful with new growth in the spring as it van be damaged if we have a little frost.
Care instructions
1.water the plant throughly before planting it and let the water drain away.
2.dig a hole twice as deep & as wide as the container.
3. Can mix in some gravel at the base to improve drainage.
4. Best compost to use would be ericaceous
5.Make sure you water well in the first year specially in the dry spells.
